2008 Nebraska Tornadoes and Flooding
Several areas of Nebraska have experienced storm damage this spring. The current behavioral health response is being coordinated at the local level. Below is a list of resources that may be helpful for anyone experiencing stress or other emotions as a result of the storms.
Omaha Mall Shooting Tragedy - December 5, 2007
Nebraska applied for and received funding through a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration Emergency Response Grant (SERG) to address the emerging behavioral health needs related to this tragedy. Grant activities are coordinated by Region 6 Behavioral Healthcare in Omaha, NE, with technical assistance and oversight provided by the University of Nebraska Public Policy Center.
